With the ever changing world of escape rooms we try to keep up with all the changes that affect this popular section of the leisure industry, especially after the past few years with pandemics, crazy electricity and gas bills etc. We wonder how it´s affected escape rooms!
Well it seems to have in some areas of the UK for the worst but overall escape room companies seem to be surviving! Maybe this is down to the creativity of the rooms, always evolving with great new ideas and designs combined with the social aspect, groups of likeminded people joining together to solve puzzles and beating the clock.
We are seeing that reality and virtual are combining to create new and exciting escape rooms for the coming year, this of course may at some time create the “traditionalists” movement in escape room experiences. One thing we do know, the escape room experience has spawned more types of real life entertainment experiences for all ages.
There’s also an increasing trend toward multi-room experiences that allow groups to work together to solve puzzles as they move from room to room.
