Meanwhile, your sister module, deep in the Martian desert, has mined precious minerals that could accelerate human engineering by centuries. It was supposed to be a triumph—a historic moment for all of humankind.

Now, the next part should be simple: rendezvous with your crewmates in the mining module, ensure all the spaceship batteries are charged, and then make your way home. A routine mission to wrap up an extraordinary journey. But there’s something that doesn’t feel right.

The air seems too still, the silence too thick. As you approach the module, an unsettling chill runs through you. You can’t shake the feeling that something is… different. Something has stirred in the depths of the planet, and it’s not just the batteries you need to worry about anymore.
